
At least one internal HACCP audit per year is generally required. An initial certification audit is conducted for first-time certification. During the certificate validity period, annual surveillance audits are typically performed. A recertification audit is carried out at the end of the certification cycle. Additional audits may be necessary in case of significant changes.
