Declaration of Impartiality
The certification body of PIAQ Germany GmbH offers audits, certifications of management systems, as well as training and services. Organizations can demonstrate through certification that they meet the requirements of specified standards, regulations, and other guidelines, confirmed by an independent and impartial certification body.
The certification body does not conduct internal audits or consulting for organizations.
When conducting audits, assessments, and certifications, strict attention is paid to ensuring that neither the involved internal nor external auditors or employees have previously performed consulting activities for the customers or that other conflicts of interest exist.
In the context of its certifications, the certification body treats all service providers equally. Uniform requirements and procedures as well as identical financial conditions apply to all interested organizations. Additionally, the four-eyes principle is consistently applied.
All internal and external employees perform their tasks impartially and objectively. They are bound by confidentiality through their employment contracts. Customer-specific information that becomes known to them during their activities may not be disclosed to third parties, even after the termination of the employment relationship.
The management of the certification body of PIAQ Germany GmbH is obligated to act impartially in all certification decisions and assessments. Potential conflicts of interest are identified, analyzed, and documented. This includes, in particular, conflicts arising from self-assessment, self-interest, familiarity, or intimidation that could jeopardize impartiality. Should any threats to impartiality be identified, the management takes immediate appropriate measures to ensure the objectivity of the certification.
The personnel of the certification body are independent of commercial influences from third parties in all activities and decisions related to auditing and certification.
