The duration of ISO 14001 training varies depending on the scope of the training, the target audience, and the roles of the participants. Basic ISO 14001 awareness training usually lasts 1 day. Internal auditor or more comprehensive implementation trainings typically take 2–3 days. The training duration is determined to ensure that the requirements of the environmental management system are adequately conveyed. The objective is to enable participants to understand the ISO 14001 standard and apply it effectively within their areas of responsibility.
