Under ISO 9001:2008, six mandatory procedures were defined. These included control of documents, control of records, internal audits, control of nonconforming products, corrective actions, and preventive actions. The procedures ensured systematic control and monitoring of quality-related processes. In ISO 9001:2015, these procedures are no longer explicitly required. Their principles remain embedded within the standard’s requirements. Implementation is based on a risk-based approach within the defined scope.
